Winding Down

So my first semester of my senior year ends this Thursday...and the one question that I have is where have my college years gone?!?!?!? It seems like just yesterday I was graduating form Coyle and having no cluw what College had in store for me and now I am starting to think about what the world has in store for me. In reality in about 5 months I NEED to be an adult....CRAZY!

So recently I have been thinking about what God has in store for me after graduation? I have had a few thoughts swimming through my mind....but how do I know whats right for me?

Here are some of the things that I have been thinking about:

- going to grad school for anthropology or going to to school to do soical work with refugees in the inner city. But here is the thing...I am thinking that I have just about had enough of school and I need a flippin break from tests and papers if not for me at least for my sanity.

- I have also thought about working with UN refugees like I have done while being enrolled at Houghton, only thing is that I have not been able to find any refugee organizations in the boston area. (which is a problem....becasue thats where I want to be! I hate the winters in Western NY a it is!)

here is a picture with me and the kids from Burundi that I tutor in English:

Gilie age 3, Grace age 8, and Joyce age 6

- I have aldo been talking with Jackie Perryman who works for a missions organization called New Missions Systems International. I looked into the missions program, they work in Kenya with the Maasai (the people group I live with when in Tanzania)!!!! I would need to go to Florida for 3 months for missions training, and then living in Kenya for 4 years at the time with 6 month fulows. This is my dream....the only issue is that I am getting married and I need to take Matthew and his family into concideration and right now we are dealing with moving and raising a family in Africa. So this is a struggle for both of us right now!

- And the last option is to stay at GAP and make money while I am still looking for a job in my major.

.....all of these things also depend on where my parents are living. They may still be in MA, but right now with the economy and the fact my dad was laid off we are unsure of where God is leading them. If they move, I will stay in MA but then I will also need to put looking for a place to live and a job to support myself as well!!!!

Well this is where I am right now in thinking about the future. Any ideas, I could use them :)
